Details
This Beetle convertible was completely restored, with the body of the Bug being removed from frame. The floor pans, along with all mechanical systems underneath, have been redone. It has a new master brake cylinder, brake lines, new front suspension and brakes all around. It also has new tires with modern wheels. The transmission was redone with a new clutch plate. The engine was rebuilt, starting with a new 1600 case; all components are new and all the metal heat shields were redone. It was
changed over to an alternator, heat channels were installed, as well as a new interior, including seats and carpet. The bodywork was completely redone with a custom paint job and a new convertible top. This car took a couple of years, but has been completely restored with some custom features.
