SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – Dec. 18, 2024Barrett-Jackson, The World’s Greatest Collector Car Auctions, will sell the Gilstrap Collection boasting coveted supercars including the 2022 Lamborghini Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae (preview) during the Scottsdale Auction, January 18-26, 2025, at WestWorld of Scottsdale. Finished in Viola Pearl Effect, the Lamborghini Aventador is No. 001 of 350 coupes produced for the final year of production, part of a limited run of 600 units, including 250 roadsters, for the model year. The Gilstrap Collection includes 17 collectible vehicles, each offered at No Reserve.

“We have a number of impeccable late-model supercars consigned for Scottsdale, and many of the crown jewels you’ll see in Scottsdale are from the Gilstrap Collection,” said Craig Jackson, chairman and CEO of Barrett-Jackson. “James Gilstrap has meticulously curated a collection of rare and highly desirable supercars, like his Lamborghini Aventador. The collection reflects his penchant for fine European supercars and efforts to carefully preserve their collectability. Every vehicle he’s offering will sell with No Reserve in Scottsdale, giving the next owner a truly remarkable prize to add to their own collection.”

Powered by a V12 engine, the 2022 Lamborghini Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae is capable of accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in approximately 2.8 seconds, reaching a top speed of 221 mph. It features Leirion forged wheels measuring 20 inches in the front and 21 inches in the rear, and the Ultimae Full Livery package. The interior features a Lamborghini Sensonum sound system, and the Italian car has 1,065 actual miles.

Also from the Gilstrap Collection is the 2022 McLaren 765LT Spider (preview) that was garage-kept, meticulously maintained and has only 894 actual miles. Finished in Elite Volcano Yellow, the McLaren is powered by a mid-mounted 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo engine paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch Seamless Shift gearbox that helps the exotic rocket from 0 to 60 mph in 2.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 205 mph. The interior boasts black Alcantara leather with McLaren Orange stitching and secondary carbon-fiber components.

“The Gilstrap Collection is the ‘pièce de résistance’ of late-model supercars,” said Steve Davis, president of Barrett-Jackson. “Lamborghini, Ferrari, McLaren ‒ these European supercars are truly aspirational vehicles that reflect the many car posters plastered across bedroom walls growing up. I look forward to Super Saturday in Scottsdale when the Gilstrap Collection lights up the auction arena as they each go to the highest bidder.”

Cloaked in Rosso Corsa, the collection’s 2022 Ferrari SF90 Stradale (preview) represents Ferrari’s cutting-edge technology and design in a hybrid supercar. The Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) is powered by a V8 engine paired with electric motors that deliver 986 horsepower, propelling it from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.5 seconds with a top speed of over 211 mph. The exterior bears distinctive two-tone body painting, forged Grigio Corsa diamond wheels with titanium wheel bolts mounted over red brake calipers. The interior features special-color leather seat stripes, specific design racing seats with the Ferrari Prancing Horse stitched in the headrest, a colored steering wheel, Alcantara central seat inserts and a premium HiFi system.

Also included in the Gilstrap Collection is a 2018 Ferrari 488 GTB 70th Anniversary Edition (preview) that is powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.9-liter V8 engine and has 292 actual miles. A one-of-one masterpiece crafted under Ferrari’s exclusive Tailor-Made program, the GTB is inspired by one of Ferrari’s iconic 1958 250 GT Berlinetta. Finished in Giallo Modena, a 2022 Ferrari F8 Spider (preview) delivers 710 horsepower from its mid-mounted V8 engine, and has 4,750 actual miles.
