Shattering the previous auction record for a non-charity-sale Toyota Supra, the stunt car from two of the films in the “Fast & Furious” franchise brought in $550,000 at the Las Vegas Auction.
Is that a Supra? You bet – but it’s not just a Supra, it’s the Supra, one of the most legendary cars in Hollywood and a car that started a cultural revolution and led a franchise. We’re of course talking about the 1994 Toyota Supra “Fast and Furious” movie car. Selling for a record-shattering $550,000, the “Fast” Supra stood as the crescendo of fine Toyota vehicles at the Las Vegas event, closely flanked by another MKIV Supra and a series of Toyota’s legendary globe-trotter, the Land Cruiser. From FJs to FZs, the mighty Land Cruiser has leveraged itself as a staple of the collector car hobby.
