LOT #769 – 2019 FORD GT – NO RESERVE

280088_EngineUnveiled at the January 2015 North American Auto Show in Detroit, the latest Ford GT took the automotive world by storm, captivating onlookers with its bold design and engineering excellence. Developed in collaboration with Multimatic, the road-going Ford GT essentially is an FIA LM GTE-class racing car in disguise, with a license plate. The GT’s primary purpose was competition, with only minimal adjustments made for street use. Its road-legal version debuted following its class victory at Le Mans in 2016 ‒ marking Ford’s return to triumph at the iconic race, 50 years after its legendary win.

The GT is a marvel of modern design and engineering, incorporating advanced materials, cutting-edge construction and integrated aerodynamics. Built around a carbon-fiber monocoque and lightweight aluminum components, the GT’s compact body is crafted for minimal drag and maximum downforce. Standing just 43.7 inches tall, the car lowers an additional 2 inches in Track Mode. Its suspension uses competition-inspired pushrod-actuated dampers, and portions of an FIA-compliant roll cage are seamlessly incorporated into the roof. The GT’s sleek body tapers sharply at the rear, generating immense downforce, while the striking flying buttresses channel cool air into the engine intakes. Its rear fenders echo the look of modern Le Mans prototypes.

280088_InteriorPowering the GT is a mid-mounted 3.5-liter twin-turbo EcoBoost V6 engine, generating 647 horsepower and 550 ft/lbs of torque. Paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, the GT rockets from 0 to 60 mph in under 3 seconds and reaches a blistering top speed of 216 mph. Hydraulic steering delivers razor-sharp control, while carbon-fiber wheels reduce unsprung weight and Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes ensure world-class stopping power. In Race Mode, the GT sharpens its throttle response, stiffens its suspension and deploys its rear spoiler, transforming into a track-dominating machine ready to take on any circuit.

A 2019 Ford GT dressed in striking Liquid Red Tri-Coat paint with a Dark Energy interior is selling with No Reserve at the 2024 Scottsdale Fall Auction, Oct. 10-13 at WestWorld. The interior showcases an F1-inspired steering wheel wrapped in Ebony Alcantara, featuring paddle shifters and a variety of control buttons and dials, all ergonomically positioned for the driver to manage the car’s advanced systems. Additional premium features include an LED rev counter, launch control, a tilt/telescopic steering column and a 6.5-inch touchscreen with navigation, Bluetooth and Ford’s Sync 3 infotainment system.

280088_Side_ProfileVisually, the GT is stunning, boasting LED headlamps, a ventilated polycarbonate rear engine hatch and high-mounted center exhaust outlets. Beyond its race-bred performance, this GT includes over $50,000 in factory options, such as 6-point safety harness anchors, alloy over-top stripes, the carbon-fiber exterior accent package, a fitted car cover and 20-inch gloss-exposed carbon-fiber wheels.

Included with this immaculate 2019 Ford GT are all factory-issued documents, including the Window Sticker and build book. This GT is ready for the track and is certainly ready to be a centerpiece in any collection. Register to bid today.
