BIDDING

  • As a registered bidder, you can bid on both vehicles and automobilia. Simply raise your hand to bid and a Bidder Assistant from the auctioneering team will help you convey your bid to the auctioneer.
  • If you cannot be on-site when the vehicle you would like to bid on is crossing the auction block, visit the auction office to fill out an Absentee Bidder form.
  • To raise your bid limit, you may stop by the auction office and provide an updated bank letter, or leave a cashier’s check or cash deposit. Every $1,000 deposited will raise your limit by $10,000.
  • Vehicle financing options are available; stop by the auction office to speak with a representative from Woodside Credit.
  • If you would like a shipping or insurance quote on a vehicle, please visit representatives from Reliable Carriers or TFX International and Barrett-Jackson Endorsed Collector Car Insurance near cashiering.

WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU ARE THE WINNING BIDDER

  • Personal checks are only accepted for vehicle payment when it is accompanied by an approved bank letter. The check may only be provided against the account number on the letter, and not for an amount higher than the amount designated on the letter.
  • Arrange for the shipping of your vehicle the same day you are the winning bidder. The cashering office closes on Monday, October 7, 2019; all vehicles must be paid for and picked up by 5 PM.
  • The title will be processed and sent to you within 21 business days after the close of auction.*

*NOTE: Slightly different procedures apply for Canadian bidders; please inquire at the auction consignment office. Out-of-state residents are required to provide a Bill of Lading in order to be exempt from taxes at time of purchase.

  • The vehicle locations are listed on the Daily Auction Car Lists, available at the information booths, in the auction office, in the skyboxes and by the stairs of the auction block.
  • The Barrett-Jackson app, available for download to your smart phone on the Google Play and Apple App Store, shows each vehicle’s location, event map and more.
  • Auction staff in the Key Control area and the information booths can help you locate any auction vehicle.

EXAMINING VEHICLES BEHIND STANCHIONS OR OTHERWISE INACCESSIBLE

  • On Preview Day in particular, owners are generally near their vehicles to answer questions, open hoods and even start the vehicle.
  • The auction cars are driven to the pre-staging and staging lanes approximately one hour prior to crossing the auction block. This is an optimal time to observe the cars being started up and driven. Owners are often present at this time to answer questions as well.
  • If you would like further information on a particular vehicle, stop by the Auction office.

HOW TO GET YOUR DEPOSIT BACK

  • If you didn’t purchase a vehicle and left a deposit, visit the auction office to pick up any deposits on file.
  • Any deposit not picked up by the end of the auction on September 29th will be mailed to the address on file.

COMPLIMENTARY BIDDER PACKAGES

  • If you purchase a vehicle at the 2019 Las Vegas Auction, you will automatically receive a complimentary 2020 Las Vegas Auction bidder package.
  • If you consign a vehicle at the current auction, a complimentary bidder package will be available to you.
