Hundreds of cars, thousands of photos.

This year at the 2nd Annual Northeast Auction, over 600 vehicles were on the docket. For selling effectiveness, it is suggested to give a potential buyer a minimum of five views of the car on offer in advance of the sale ‒photos that capture the front three-quarter, the side, rear three-quarter, engine and the interior. Multiply that by the number of cars on the docket and that adds up to over 2,500 moments frozen in time – why not make the most of them?

Generally at Barrett-Jackson, the consignor submits the five suggested photos. Many are taken with great care and attention to detail; some consignors even insist on only using photos taken by a professional. Well-crafted photos, whether they are taken by a pro or on your point-and-shoot camera, capture the stance and attitude of your collectible. Great photos can often help influence an exciting sale at auction. When the thousands of potential buyers see your car on the docket pages of Barrett-Jackson.com, in a digital newsletter and in the auction catalog itself, the photos of your car speak for themselves. And you want them to say something profound.

Here is a gallery of some great examples of recent noteworthy auction sales ‒ with photos that may have helped drive the price.
