Craig Jackson, Steve Magnante and Steve Davis with the just-unveiled last-production 2018 Dodge Demon – the only one in Viper Red – alongside the last-production 2017 Dodge Viper. The pair (Lot #3002 and Lot #3002.1) will cross the auction block on Saturday to benefit the United Way and the American Heart Association.
Car enthusiasts of all ages had a blast at today’s Family Value Day.
Doors opened to the 3rd Annual Barrett-Jackson Northeast Auction today for a special Family Value Day/Preview Day, where fans of all ages came to get a sneak peek at the vehicles getting ready to cross the auction block the rest of the week, check out the many interactive sponsor and exhibitor displays, and take an exciting spin with a professional driver at the Ford Ride ’N Drives and Dodge Thrill Rides.
Attendees were also treated to the big reveal of the last-production 2018 Dodge Demon, which came off the assembly line just days ago and was painted Viper Red to match the last-production 2017 Dodge Viper. The pair – known as the “Ultimate Last Chance” – will cross the auction block together on Saturday to benefit the United Way and the American Heart Association (AHA).
Barrett-Jackson’s Driven Hearts charitable initiative for the American Heart Association is evident throughout the auction site.
Car enthusiasts in the Northeast were also introduced to Driven Hearts, Barrett-Jackson’s yearlong charity initiative to increase awareness about heart health and raise much-needed funds for the AHA. The Driven Hearts Bugatti Veyron and special Driven Hearts Corvette were prominently on display in the Mohegan Sun mall, while the Corvette’s “twin” was being readied for its trip across the auction block on Saturday for a sale that will also support the AHA. All the auction cars are sporting the third in a series of four collectible license plates – this one showing “F.A.S.T.” to represent the signs of stroke and the importance of acting quickly: Face drooping, Arm weakness, Speech difficulty and Time to call 9-1-1. The collector plates are for sale at all Barrett-Jackson merchandise locations on-site (and online at www.ShopBarrettJackson.com), with proceeds going to the AHA.
Check out the action at the Ride ’N Drives and Thrill Rides today in the video below, as well as a gallery of highlights from around the auction site. Be sure to join us tomorrow as the first of the collector cars and rare automobilia items debut on the auction block! (To view the vehicles lined up for Thursday, click HERE.)
