FABULOUS FORDS: Top 10 Wearing the Blue Oval at the 2022 Scottsdale Auction

As always, Ford had a significant presence at the 2022 Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale auction. The World’s Greatest Collector Car Auctions saw an incredible number of Mustangs and Broncos, along with a selection of top-of-the-line Ford GTs and Cobras. Among the highest-selling Fords were a 2019 Ford GT Heritage Edition selling for $1.65 million; a 2017 Ford GT ’66 Heritage Edition for $1.43 million; and a 2020 Ford GT Carbon Edition for $1.37 million. Additionally, a 1968 Ford Mustang custom fastback sold for charity with 100% of its $1.1 million hammer price benefiting the Shock Trauma Air Rescue Services (STARS) Foundation. Other Ford charity vehicles included a 2022 Ford Shelby GT500KR with 100% of its $700,000 hammer price benefiting the Carroll Shelby Foundation and JDRF, and a 2021 Ford Bronco “Bronco 66” First Edition model with 100% of its $550,000 hammer price benefiting the Pope Francis Center. Buster Posey’s 1967 Ford Mustang Eleanor Tribute Edition sold for $550,000, setting a new record for the highest-selling Eleanor Mustang.
