LOT #733 – 1963 CHEVROLET CORVETTE 327/360 SPLIT-WINDOW FUELIE – NO RESERVE

Barrett-Jackson is excited to offer a diverse assortment of vehicles with No Reserve during the 2023 Palm Beach Auction, April 13-15 at the South Florida Fairgrounds. Among them is a noteworthy nine-car collection from Brian Kelly that includes everything from classic Americana and vintage European to modern performance cars. The highlight is an iconic, one-year-only body-style 1963 Chevrolet Corvette 327/360 Split-Window Fuelie (Lot #733).

LOT #675 – 1959 CHEVROLET CORVETTE 283/245 CONVERTIBLE – NO RESERVE

According to its VIN, this special Ermine White Corvette was car #332 off the assembly line. It features a red interior and is one of only 2,610 cars produced with the 327ci fuel-injected engine, offering 360 horsepower. The matching-numbers engine is backed by a 4-speed manual transmission. The recipient of a professional frame-off restoration, the Corvette has 35,189 actual miles and rides on a set of knock-off wheels wrapped in wide whitewall radial tires.

Also set to cross the auction block in this grouping are a 1959 Chevrolet Corvette 283/245 convertible (Lot #675) and a 1970 Chevrolet Corvette 350/300 convertible (Lot #371). Each is finished in white with a black soft-top over a red interior. The 1959 model comes with a matching white hardtop and is powered by its original matching-numbers 283ci engine (one of just 1,417 Corvettes so-equipped), which is topped with a dual-quad carburetor and backed by a 4-speed manual transmission. Numerous receipts documenting the frame-on restoration are included with the sale.

The 1970 Corvette is powered by a 350ci V8 engine rated at 300 horsepower, with a 4-barrel carburetor and a 4-speed manual transmission. It is equipped with air conditioning, power steering, power brakes, AM/FM radio and a luggage rack. The Corvette rides on steel wheels with deluxe wheel covers wrapped in whitewall radial tires. The car has 34,301 actual miles and has received recent service and upgrades that include new bushings, a new brake booster and a new alternator.

LOT #684 – 1954 BUICK SKYLARK CONVERTIBLE – NO RESERVE

A 1954 Buick Skylark convertible (Lot #684) and a custom 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air hardtop (Lot #437) represent the collection’s classic American offerings. The Skylark was the recipient of a professional frame-off nut-and-bolt restoration that led to it winning Best in Class awards at several Concours d’Elegance events. One of 836 examples built for the 1954 model year, this Buick is powered by its matching-numbers 322ci Fireball V8 engine mated to a Dynaflow automatic transmission. Factory equipment includes power steering, power drum brakes, OEM Kelsey-Hayes wire wheels (including spare), power windows and seats, power top, power antenna and an AM radio. Finished in Arctic White with red wheel wells and sporting a black convertible top over a red leather interior, this Skylark is sure to turn some heads.

The beautiful two-tone turquoise and white Chevrolet Bel Air was also the recipient of a frame-off restoration. Under the hood is its original rebuilt 265ci V8 engine with 4-barrel carburetor, mated to a rebuilt 3-speed automatic transmission. This Bel Air has been upgraded with a Vintage Air system, 4-wheel power disc brakes and a dual-reservoir master cylinder.

The 1969 Mercedes-Benz 280SL roadster (Lot #683) in the collection is a one-owner vehicle finished in two-tone white with a black hardtop and soft-top. Under the hood is its original 2.8-liter SOHC straight-6 engine rated with 180 horsepower, factory-equipped with Bosch fuel injection and mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission. The red interior has been optioned with air conditioning and an AM/FM radio. Other highlights include power steering and 4-wheel power disc brakes. One of 8,407 produced in the 1969 model year, this 280SL has 71,427 actual miles.

LOT #762 – 2022 FORD SHELBY GT500 HERITAGE EDITION – NO RESERVE

Dressed in Brittany Blue with Wimbledon White racing stripes, the 2022 Ford Shelby GT500 Heritage Edition (Lot #762) in this grouping pays homage to the original 1967 Shelby GT500 created by the legendary Carroll Shelby. It is one of roughly 255 Heritage Editions built in 2022 and is offered with only 10 miles on the odometer. Power comes from a 5.2-liter supercharged V8 engine factory-rated with 760 horsepower and 625 ft/lbs of torque, paired with a TREMEC 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The sale includes the original Window Sticker and original marketing materials.

Powering a beautiful white 2011 Audi R8 Spyder (Lot #671.1) with a red soft-top is a mid-mounted 5.2-liter V10 engine mated to a 6-speed automatic R-tronic sequential transaxle connected to Audi’s legendary Quattro all-wheel-drive system. The red and black Nappa leather interior features heated seats, power windows, a navigation system, backup camera, Bang & Olufsen sound system and Sirius satellite radio. It has 12,596 actual miles and rides on premium 19-inch wheels.

A Mamba Edition 2004 Dodge Viper SRT/10 roadster (Lot #434) is the final car of this grouping. The Viper White roadster comes with a black soft-top and is car #70 of 200 Mamba Editions built. Power comes from the iconic 500-horsepower 8.3-liter V10 engine mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. The interior is specific to the Mamba Edition, featuring sport seats trimmed in black leather with synthetic suede inserts and red stitching, aluminum trim, and red leather accents on the doors, center console and steering wheel. It rides on chrome-finished aluminum wheels wrapped in red-lettered Michelin tires and features red brake calipers and side-exit exhaust pipes. It is a one-owner vehicle with 1,790 actual miles.
