Barrett-Jackson’s 2023 Scottsdale Auction saw some of the hottest cars from the first decade of the 2000s make an appearance on its docket, including Lot #1405, a 2005 Porsche Carrera GT, and Lot #1397, John Mayer’s 2006 Ford GT Heritage Edition. Lot #1405 – 2005 PORSCHE CARRERA GT – $1,595,000
Pictured above is a 2005 Porsche Carrera GT powered by a 5.7-liter V10 engine mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. Finished in red over a dark gray leather interior.
Lot #1397 – JOHN MAYER’S 2006 FORD GT HERITAGE EDITION – $594,000
Formerly owned by singer/songwriter John Mayer. One of 343 Heritage Editions made for the entire production run. 3,460 actual miles.
Lot #1416 – 2006 FORD GT – $577,500
One of two produced with factory stripe delete; 75 examples finished in Speed Yellow for the calendar year. Powered by a supercharged 5.4-liter V8 engine mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. With a McIntosh stereo and air conditioning. 16 actual miles.
