Details
This uncut 1972 Ford Bronco 4x4 with fully restored hardtop started as a rust-free Bronco before it began a meticulous frame-off restoration. It is powered by a newly rebuilt 302ci V8 engine with automatic transmission, The chassis was sand-blasted and powder-coated, then outfitted with a Dana 20 twin-stick transfer case with Dana 44 axles in the front and Ford 9-inch in the rear. The menacing stance comes from a highly modified suspension package, including 2.5-inch body lift kit, new spring coils, leaf springs and Bilstein shocks along with 32-inch All Terrain BFGoodrich tires on black FUEL Revolver wheels with a matching spare mounted on a custom rear swing-away carrier. Handling is a breeze with new bushings, power steering, tilt column, billet pedals and a billet wood-grain Bronco edition 3-point steering wheel. The Wilwood master cylinder brings it all to a stop, with power disc brakes in front and drums in the rear. The exterior is finished in matte gray Mercedes AMG paint with matte black trim. To keep with the color scheme, aftermarket bumpers, LED headlights, Bronco emblems, Ford grille emblem, billet gas cap, door handles and side mirrors were all added in black. The interior was lined with sound-deadening material and then covered with a custom black carpet kit, followed by custom reclining front bucket seats and tumble rear bench that have all been professionally upholstered in Bentley saddle leather, along with the door and quarter-panels and dash pad. This is all complemented by a custom dash with a Dakota Digital LED 6-gauge instrument cluster, billet knobs, chrome air vents and a Kenwood Double DIN LED touchscreen head unit with Bluetooth, Apple Car Play and rearview camera that connects to Kenwood speakers in custom fiberglass kick panels. The center console has a locking door, matching leather upholstered arm pad, drink holders, and front and back USB power ports. The modern-day luxuries don't stop there as Vintage Air climate control, power windows, and AMP Research power steps and running boards were added, along with a 6-point family roll cage, powder-coated in black, with front and back seatbelts for safety. This well-executed Resto-Mod has less than 1,000 miles since its restoration and is offered from the personal collection of Barrett-Jackson Executive Vice President and General Manager Nick Cardinale. **SOLD ON BONDED TITLE**
