Description
This 1970 Camaro known as 'The Grinch' was custom-built by the Ringbrothers and unveiled at SEMA. There are numerous body modifications, including flared wheel openings, extended rocker panels, quarter-panels and fenders. Other modifications include a custom-crafted carbon-fiber hood and rear spoiler. Additional exterior features include Ringbrothers carbon-fiber and chrome side-view mirrors, Ringbrothers door handles, black chrome bumpers, Harley-Davidson headlights and aluminum taillight bezels. The engine compartment is highly detailed with many custom features throughout. The firewall, inner fenders and radiator support were fabricated and finished in satin green with black appointments. The Grinch is powered by a Wegner Motorsports 602hp LS3 V8 engine with a custom-made intake manifold that has been reversed with a throttle body and air box that draws air in from the cowl. The LS3 is mated to a Bowler TKO TREMEC 5-speed manual transmission with an ACT twin-disc clutch for smooth shifting. The rear end is a Detroit Speed Ford 9-inch with posi-traction. The engine breathes through custom Ringbrothers wrapped headers and a Flowmaster exhaust system that exits through the custom-fabricated rear valance. Suspension is upgraded all around with a Detroit Speed Hydro Formed front sub-frame, tubular control arms, front sway bar, 4-link rear suspension and adjustable coilovers at all four corners. It is also equipped with power rack & pinion steering and Wilwood power disc brakes at all four corners. The bespoke interior was done by the Recovery Room and features Italian dark gray leather with Corbeau seats, BMW carpet, custom one-off dash and door panels, custom green gauges by Classic Instruments and air conditioning. The interior rear space is dedicated to a custom MTX Kenwood sound system and the trunk compartment has been boxed and upholstered to match the interior. The Grinch rides on new custom Forgeline center lock wheels wrapped in Nitto NT05 tires. Recently ceramic-coated for paint protection. The sale includes the original Ringbrothers marketing brochure.
