Details

Known as 'Great White,' with its shark-like fins and mean demeanor this radical Biscayne is a one-of-a-kind G-machine. The vision of the build by McConnell Motorsports was to create a superior street machine without comprising the original classic appearance of this seldom-seen model. This vehicle is in outstanding condition and has less than 200 miles since the build was completed in 2019. As the VIN indicates, this car was built in Tarrytown, NY, as a 1960 Chevrolet Biscayne 2-door sedan with

a 6-cylinder engine. Prior to the meticulous rotisserie restoration this car was very solid, so it retains all of its original sheet metal, with exception of the lower rear quarters. The body was worked for countless hours, making it laser-straight with excellent gap lines throughout. The rear quarter-caps were removed for a custom touch. The hood, doors and trunk close beautifully. It was finished in 2010 GM white base, which dresses it beautifully. The paintwork is gorgeous and ocean deep. It was fitted with all-new tinted glass from Auto City Classic Glass. All of the original brightwork was restored and looks spectacular. It sports dual chrome mirrors, modern headlights, LT4 Supercharged emblems and bullet-style taillights. It sits perfectly on new Billet Specialties 'Stiletto' wheels with Pirelli P Zero tires that are 245-40-ZR18 on the front and 305-35-ZR20 on the rear. The entire interior was customized by John Miller of Hide Originals. The black leather interior is complemented by red stitching and era-correct houndstooth material on the seats. The custom center console was also wrapped with matching upholstery and features the chrome shifter with white shift knob, power window switches and storage compartment. Some of the interior features LED light strips, Dakota Digital gauges, billet vents, billet knobs, billet door handles, tilt steering column, Billet Specialties 'Stiletto' steering wheel, Vintage Air climate control, power vent windows, power windows with rear switches, LT4 Supercharged emblem, high-end carpeting and matching floor mats. It's equipped with a RetroSound system with multiple speakers, including tweeters. The trunk compartment was also upholstered in matching leather and carpeting. An Optima yellow top battery with battery tender is located behind the side panel. The engine compartment is highly detailed throughout with a white firewall, black inner fenders and black radiator support with show panel. The car is powered by a Lingenfelter Performance Engineering GM supercharged LT4 V8 engine with 750hp. The engine was painted high-gloss orange to represent the original GM engine block color, and a custom intake was added. The engine is cooled by an aluminum radiator with dual electric fans and aluminum overfill canister. The engine breathes through custom Ultima headers and a custom mandrel-bent 3-inch exhaust with Stainless Works mufflers. The engine is coupled to a TREMEC TKO 600 5-speed manual transmission that shifts smoothly. The undercarriage is highly detailed and mirror-quality throughout. The underside of the body was finished in a white textured paint for durability. The body sits on an Art Morrison AME GT Sport chassis, which is state of the art. Up front you'll find AME's highly acclaimed Sport IFS with its beefy chrome tubular control arms, gold Strange coilover shocks with PAC Racing springs, adjustable anti-sway bar and power rack & pinion steering. Superior handling and the ability to handle an abundance of power is assured through a triangulated 4-bar rear suspension and a beefy Currie 9-inch rear end with 3.50 gears. The braking system consists of a Wilwood master cylinder, Wilwood 14-inch drilled and slotted rotors, and Wilwood red calipers that are 6-piston on the front and 4-piston on the rear. This vehicle has been recently serviced and detailed, which is documented with an invoice that is included. From the MS CLASSIC CARS Collection.
