This 1957 Chevy 3100 big-back-window stepside pickup was professionally restored and upgraded with modern technology throughout. The hood is pancaked 3 inches to give this '57 a sleeker and more aggressive look. It is powered by a 388ci stroker V8 engine with Hilborn-style 8-stack electronic fuel injection. The engine is mated to a TREMEC TKO 600 5-speed manual transmission with a Centerforce dual-friction clutch connected to a narrowed 12-bolt posi-traction rear end with Moser axles and 3.73

gears. This big-back-window truck features a Jim Meyers front suspension with power rack & pinion steering and a TCI 4-link rear suspension with dual-adjustable coilovers on all four corners. Stopping power is courtesy of SSBC-USA four-wheel disc brakes. Other modernizations include Vintage Air climate control, Classic Instruments gauge package with tachometer and an Ididit chrome steering column. This custom pickup sits on Cragar chrome wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich tires. During the restoration, the cabin and doors were upgraded with Dynamat for sound-deadening. This truck was built from factory original, no-rust Idaho parts, not aftermarket body parts. The bed, including the tailgate, is all factory, taken from a 1957 stored in a barn.
