The Ford GT was introduced in 2005 as “The Pace Car for An Entire Company” to commemorate Ford’s 100-year anniversary. This 2006 Ford GT Heritage Edition is finished in the classic Heritage Blue and Orange as an homage to the winning race cars of 1966-69. Of the 4,038 total Ford GTs built for 2005-06, this is #67 of the 343 Heritage Edition cars built. This Ford GT is powered by a dry-sump oiled and supercharged aluminum 5.4-liter V8 engine producing 550hp and 500 ft/lbs of torque mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. It delivers a 0-60 mph time of 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 205 mph. Stopping power is provided by Brembo brakes. This two-owner Ford GT has been driven 4,932 actual miles since new and includes all available options, starting with the Heritage color scheme, forged premium BBS wheels, painted brake calipers and the McIntosh radio. A protective clear bra coating protects the paint. It comes complete with all original accessories, including the duffel bag and car cover, battery tender and two keys with remotes. The documentation includes all original manuals and Window Sticker. A separate one-per-vehicle documentation package includes an additional Window Sticker and a Certificate of Authenticity that documents build information.
