This custom 1971 Chevrolet K5 Blazer underwent a no-expense-spared, nut-and-bolt rotisserie restoration and features straight-as-an arrow panels, smooth contours and crisp lines. Panel gaps line up well, and the laser-straight body was finished in bright red with clear. The panels are all-new OEM NOS metal down to the hood. This custom Blazer features new postdated tinted glass, rechromed original bumpers, an NOS grille and a removable top. The frame has been media-blasted and powder-coated, and
the undercarriage has solid pans. The interior boasts a set of hand-worked original seats, all-new carpet, new gauges, reworked door panels and an AM radio. To top it all off, the builder added a set of Nitto tires and custom wheels. Between the fenders rests a brand-new GM 383ci 8-cylinder crate engine with aluminum heads, Endurashine Performer intake, billet pulley system and power steering. The Turbo 350 automatic transmission is built and shifts well. The Be Cool radiator and dual fans keep the engine cool, while the custom exhaust gives it a unique note. This K5 is equipped to stop with a set of power disc brakes up front and a new booster.
