Details
This 1950 Chevy 3100 Resto-Mod pickup is finished in House of Kolor Brandywine Candy paint with a custom wood bed featuring a Cognac stain and chrome strips. It’s powered by a 327ci small-block Chevy engine with a mild cam backed by a rebuilt TH350 automatic transmission, both out of a 1962 Corvette. The engine has a brand-new radiator and fan, new Holley carburetor and a 140-amp alternator. This custom pickup sits on Mustang II front suspension and a 4-link rear suspension with a 10-bolt differential donated from a 1976 Camaro, and air-ride at all four corners. A set of 4-wheel Wilwood disc brakes provide stopping power to the Boyd Coddington wheels and the gas tank has been relocated to the rear in between the frame. This 3100 features all-new windows, door handles, glove box and door, as well as a custom interior with bucket seats, console, new Dolphin gauges and a new steering column.
