Details

This 1932 Ford custom convertible was built by two of the biggest names in street rods, Frank Tetro of Harbor Auto Restoration and Bobby Alloway of Alloway’s Rod Shop. This roadster was hand-designed by Eric Brockmeyer with a Rat's Glass body and steel hood, fenders, running boards and rear splash apron by Hercules Motor Car. The chrome-plated grille insert was crafted by Jim Rench and is flanked by Greening Auto 9” headlights. All bodywork was completed by Harbor Auto Restoration and painted by

Chanbon Auto Restoration in PPG black single-stage paint. The ‘32 chassis frame by Alloway’s Rod Shop was stretched 4” to a 108” wheelbase. Under the roadster lies a 4-bar rear suspension with Alden coilovers, a Winter’s quick-change rear end with Dutchman axles and Buick finned chromed rear drum brakes. Up front there are Buick finned and chromed drums hiding modern disc brakes, chromed Super Bell front that sports a 5” drop arm, Super Bell chromed front shocks and a Borgeson steering box. The heart of this build is the 502ci Chevrolet V8 engine built by Keasler Racing. The block has been ground, smoothed and painted with polished aluminum heads and manifold featuring Sanderson ceramic headers. The custom copper radiator was built by Steve Long. The highlight of this build is the polished, one-off Crowler fuel-injection system with its “horns.” The engine is paired to a Chevy TH350 automatic transmission that has been ground, smoothed and painted black. The red leather interior features a Rat's Glass dash with a modified Billet Specialties gauge insert wearing Classic Instruments gauges. From The Vault Portfolio. ** VIN NOTICE: THIS VEHICLE CURRENTLY HAS A VIN THAT MAY – DEPENDING ON THE STATE OF REGISTRATION – REQUIRE THE BUYER TO HAVE THE VEHICLE INSPECTED AND BE SUBJECT TO A STATE-ISSUED VIN AND/OR OTHER REQUIREMENTS OF THAT STATE.**
