1928 Ford Model A custom “Wooden Deuce” featured in the November 2017 issue of Hot Rod Deluxe magazine. This one-of-a kind Model A was hand-crafted by an award-winning wooden boat restoration specialist. It took thousands of hours to build and hand fabricate the all-mahogany '32-styled roadster dovetail body and assemble it on a 1928 Model A frame. It features 12 hand-applied coats of Epifanes marine varnish, which were each sanded between coats for a stunning finish. It is powered by a rebuilt 1949 239ci 8BA Flathead V8 engine with Offenhauser heads and dual Stromberg carburetors, mated to a 3-speed manual transmission and a 1931 Banjo rear end. The grille shell was hand-painted to look like burled mahogany. **TITLE IN TRANSIT**
