Details
Restoration on this 1979 International Scout II began with a low-mileage, rust-free vehicle. The drivetrain is original to the truck and all major components (engine, transmission and transfer case) were rebuilt in Las Vegas. The interior carpet and door panels were replaced; however, the front and rear seat upholstery is original. High-density polyurethane gas tank is new and is protected by the original fuel tank skid plate. New tires are mounted on the original chrome Rally wheels, which are
in excellent condition for being 36 years old - a testament to how this vehicle has been treated by its two previous owners. The engine is a 345ci with 4-barrel carburetor and was rebuilt by Fultz's Machine Shop and the automatic transmission was rebuilt by Henderson Transmission. This Scout has been driven less than 69,000 miles, title reads exempt. It has resided in New Mexico and Nevada since new.
