Details
This is the last remaining of the three Daytonas from Big Willie Robinson and Tomiko of Street Racers, Inc., National and International Brotherhood of Street Racers. It is the Duke and Duchess Daytona. It was featured in Mopar Collectors Guide in January 2003. Big Willie owned the car and it was titled in Street Racers, Inc., when Gary French bought the car from him in 2003. It has undergone a full concours rotisserie restoration back to the way Big Willie had the car in the early '70s. It is
concours-restored underneath with all the factory-type overspray and marks with R4 red, which was the factory color before Big Willie painted it off-white with all of the lettering. It has its original matching-numbers motor, transmission and rear axle that have been rebuilt. All body numbers are matching on the car with the original Fender tag. Full documentation of the restoration from start to finish. Basically the car looks like it did back in the '70s with its original stock numbers drivetrain. Big Willie and Tomiko were famous in California for starting Terminal Island Raceway and Street Racers, Inc., which had up to 80,000 members at one point.
