Description

Summary

Custom 1937 Ford painted in House of Kolors Brandywine. Titled as a 0000 Special Construction.

Details

This award-winning, show-quality 1937 Ford Sedan Slant-back coupe was crafted into high-tech rolling art by builder Gene Wagner and Kustom K-Fab. Body modifications include (however not limited to) a lowered front windshield, handmade firewall with billet aluminum surround supports, the wiper assembly set has been neatly tucked under the extended hood, and the Satellite radio antenna has been mounted and reads from under the paint. The rear fenders were widened 1.5', and the right rear wheel

opening was hand-formed with a wooden buck and welded back in place to achieve a centered opening. The rear wheel tubs handmade to flush up to the frame for wider tire clearance. The door skins were lengthened and blended to follow the running board lines, bear-claw latches installed in rear quarter panel pillars, and running boards widened to flow into the rear fenders. The powertrain includes an LS6 from Street and Performance, with fabricated aluminum covers over coils. Complete with braided stainless hose and polished stainless hard lines that plumb the drive train, the exhaust is hand-fabricated polished 2.5' stainless feeding into twin-chamber stainless mufflers. The computer, cruise control pod, air compressor and Air Ride control unit, and hand-fabricated air tank are all mounted in the X-frame crossmembers and covered with filler panel and belly pans for tidiness. The TCI chassis started as a rear leaf spring to a 9' drum rear end. Front end has air springs with stainless 'A' frames and disc brakes. The rear has also been changed to discs. The power steering unit has been chromed and covered with aluminum panel. The completely custom interior reflects a well-thought-out and planned dash, with CNC machined bezels for the DVD Screen and gauges; the DVD screen bezel doubles as the A/C vent grille. The console features CNC-trimmed bezels and billet roll top desk cover to conceal the heater, A/C, wiper, lighting, and stereo power controls. The seat bases house a DVD player, iPod, satellite radio, ride height controller and features CNC lower glove box door and DVD player bezels. Awards do not accompany the car. **TITLED AS A 0000 SPECIAL CONSTRUCTION**
