This is a dated correct example, original down to the distributor, carburetor, alternator, smog pump, pulleys and yes, even the exhaust. It is documented by the two original Build Sheets that have been with the car since it left the factory. It was ordered exactly as it sits today. The Cowl Induction hood was deleted with the buyer electing the dual snorkel air cleaner. Most importantly, this SS was factory equipped

with the LS6 454 engine, rated at 450hp. It is equipped with the M40 TH400 automatic transmission, 4.10 posi-traction rear axle and power steering, all of which is documented on not just one but two Build Sheets. It has all of the desirable Chevelle SS options from new as well. The mechanical and electrical systems all work property and are in top condition. The Saddle-trimmed interior features the correct original gauges, bucket seats, and console. The exterior is dressed in superb Medium Gold paint over original sheet metal, complete with factory stampings. The underside is outstanding and has the correct markings.
