This stunning yellow Pro-Touring Impala SS convertible was the recipient of a frame-off restoration. It features a black convertible top that contrasts the bright yellow body while a white boot protects the top. HID headlights light up the road while dual antennas make sure you get proper reception. and exhaling through dual Flowmaster mufflers with electric cutouts and power steering. A Be Cool radiator with dual electric fans keep things cool while stopping power is provided by a Wilwood dual diaphragm booster and master cylinder. Power is put to the ground via a 9' Ford posi-traction rear end and a GM 4L60E 4-speed automatic transmission shifted by a B&M shifter. Updates under the body feature a gray hammer milled powder coated chassis. Hotchkis tubular control arms, upgraded sway bars, coilover shocks and polyurethane bushings keep handling in check. Slowing things down are Wilwood calipers and drilled/slotted rotors with bonspeed wheels shod with Pirelli P-Zero tires. The interior of this car makes as bold a statement as the exterior. The white seats and door panels contrast nicely with the black carpeting and the exterior matching yellow dash. Modern touches are the white faced, center mounted Auto Meter Sport Comp tachometer along with the Dakota Digital gauge cluster.
