Carroll Shelby took a personal interest in this car, asking to fabricate a supercharger to make it 'the fastest Series 1 in existence.' Carroll oversaw the work at the Shelby workshop in Gardena through to completion, just prior to his sad and untimely death. This car has the complete revised adjustable race suspension option complete with all forged components, full adjustable coilovers and push-rod cantilever suspension (true race car technology). This chassis has practically every single
option offered from Shelby including Centennial Silver paint with optional burgundy racing stripes, supercharged engine, adjustable race suspension package and the mandatory Carroll Shelby signature on the dash. With a rigid all aluminum chassis, carbon fiber body, high-tech adjustable suspension, 50/50 weight distribution and over 500 supercharged horses to a 2,600lb vehicle, this is truly a race car for the street.
