Built with an upgraded Pontiac 455cid V8. This was a father and son project that took four years to complete. The car is beautifully restored. All parts including the front subframe were stripped, blasted and re-coated.
Details
This is an authentic Indianapolis Pace Car with PHS documents. This car is beautifully restored. All parts including the front sub-frame were blasted and re-coated. This is a California car with no rust issues. The car comes with the original and complete 301cid turbo engine but has a high performance Pontiac 455cid V8. The engine contains forged H-beam rods, forged racing pistons and ported heads. This car is not lacking in power. It has HO Racing Tri-Y headers and Magnaflow stainless steel
exhaust. It also has a RobbMC high torque starter motor. The car is mostly original with the exception of the engine, and the original engine comes with the car. It has the original rear end with 4-wheel disc brakes and the original rebuilt transmission. Almost everything on the car has been replaced new including the tires. They are Cooper Cobra 50 series. There are many extras with the car including a supplemental booster fuel pump and red LED lights under the car. The car is also well insulated with Fat Mat and sound deadening insulation for a quiet ride.
