Details
This all-steel 1930 Ford roadster Hot Rod is a pro-built, old school, head-turner that is powered by a Flathead V8. The engine was pro-built by Dave Tatom. It displaces 276cid and features the absolute best of everything, including forged aluminum Ross 400 pistons, a 4' Mercury crank with 4-bolt mains, Offenhauser heads with stainless valves, Schneider 270 cam, Offenhauser intake manifold, dual Stromberg 97 carburetors, 12-volt electrical and Tatom custom equal length ceramic coated headers.
Other than the engine, additionally notable features include Hi-Tec modified frame, 4-bar coilover suspension with panhard bar, rack & pinion steering, German silver radiator, Ford C4 transmission, Ford 8' rear end, custom red leather interior, Hartz cloth convertible top, full cockpit tonneau, hand painted pinstriping and much more. The build quality is outstanding and three notebooks full of detailed records, comprehensive receipts and extensive info and photos from the build are included with the car.
