This is your chance to own the first of only four 2012 Camaro ZL1 models produced in Imperial Blue Metallic. In addition, this Camaro ZL1 has been the official pace car at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (formerly Mosport International Raceway), for American Le Mans Series event, Mobil 1 Grand Prix of Mosport, July 20-22, 2012. It is literally like nothing you've ever driven before. Built to be track-capable right from the showroom, and tested on some of the most rigorous tracks around the world,
including the Nurburgring, where it clocked in at 7:41.27. This is the car every engineer dreams about building. Every racer dreams about tearing around the track. And every owner dreams about, a sports car that looks mean, but feels comfortable and docile enough for daily driving. The LSA supercharged 6.2 Liter V8 engine will produce 580hp and 556ft/lbs of torque. Built on Chevrolet's legendary all-aluminum, small block V8 architecture, the ZL1's engine features multiple details designed to ensure its exceptional performance is delivered with smoothness and refinement. The suspension of the ZL1 uses the third-generation of Magnetic Ride Control. New, twin-wire/dual-coil dampers at all four corners enable faster response, with damping levels now adjusted up to 1,000 times per second, about one adjustment per inch of vehicle travel at 60 mph, making the system exceptionally responsive to changing driving and road conditions.
