Details
This immaculate black roadster was built by Rod Palmer of Arizona Street Rods. The car was owned by Jim Perkins who is the retired General Manager of Chevrolet Motor Division, V.P. of General Motors and is currently associated with Hendrick Motorsports. No detail was overlooked in building this stunning roadster. The chassis is by Roy Brizio Street Rods, equipped with a 4-bar front suspension, drop axle, adjustable coilover shocks, all polished with loads of chrome. The automatic transmission is
a Chevy 350 Turbo. The rear suspension is all connected to a 9' Ford solid axle unit and braking is done via 4-wheel power disc brakes which stop this Hot Rod straight and true. The wheels are magnesium Halibrand knock-offs. Power is provided by a Chevy small block 406cid Fast Burn precision built by Greg Gruelich. Runs smooth and does not overheat. The beautifully detailed and hand fit Wescott body exhibits craftsmanship rarely seen and is a testament to the overall quality of vehicle construction and assembly. The interior is finished in two tone gray ultra leather with a fold-down center arm rest. Enjoy a beautiful roadster equipped with air conditioning and heater, 6 disc CD audio system with remote, power push-button trunk release, ignition and electrical kill switch, unique concealed sub dash controls, etc. The driver's compartment can be completely enclosed with the removable Eisen Glass custom zip-in windows that match the black convertible softtop.
