This '70 Chevelle was created from a 1971 Chevelle by Steve Magnante for the TV show Rides Reunited. 383cid, Tremec 5-speed, Baer discs, Hotchkis suspension, Strange S60 rear end, and Nitto tires on 17'x8' Rallys. Less than 500 miles since built.

This 1970 Chevelle was built by Steve Magnante for the TV program Rides Reunited. Steve Magnante, in the program looks for an individual, in this case Jim Martinec, whose 1970 Chevelle is recreated. The 1970 Chevelle is built from a 1971 Chevelle. All the sheet metal except the roof and trunk has been replaced. All chrome and trim has been replaced. The engine is built by JMS Racing Engines in Monrovia, CA. The bored and stroked small block Chevy is now a 383cid with Holley equipped aluminum
heads, intake and 780cfm double pumper carburetor. Dynoed at 425hp and 475ft/lb of torque. Transmission is a Tremec 5-speed with an aluminum driveshaft going to a Strange S60 rear end with 3.73 gears. The suspension is equipped with Bilstein shocks and Hotchkis swaybars, springs and rear suspension. The brakes are Baer discs front and rear with slotted and drilled rotors. The wheels are 17'x8' chrome Rallys with Nitto tires. The interior is all new in the original upholstery 1970 black.
