Details
Midnight Blue Moon dust metallic and white with standard white carriage roof. Real gold pinstripes on body side. Midnight Blue leather seating surfaces with white accent straps and piping. Gold buttons with Bill Blass monogram. The 1979 Collector's Series Mark V was equipped essentially the same as the Diamond Jubilee Edition of 1978. Midnight Blue leather gave the Collector's Series unique touches. Actor Tom Selleck was used in media advertisements for the car prior to his television fame as
Magnum, P.I. 400cid engine and Cartier clock. Turbine style cast aluminum wheels. The Mark V was larger and more complex than its predecessors, coming just ten inches short of being 20' long. This designer edition carries exclusive exterior and interior color combinations, as well as more optional equipment over the standard model.
