This Pontiac was built as the first of two Solstices to showcase the Z0K package to the press. It was built to full SCCA specifications and was used to show how the Kappa architecture could be developed and modified into a SCCA SSB certified race car. This Solstice would have been legal for competition except for the replacement of the passenger side racing seat with a production seat, which was added to accommodate members of the press for track events. Designed from a base level Solstice, this
vehicle features a 2.4L 4-cylinder engine, stock wheels, roll cage and racing seat. THIS IS A MODIFIED VEHICLE.
