Details
Project Blue Thunder. This is a rare and one-of-a-kind Pro-touring 1967 Camaro. It was custom built by nationally known Munk Race Fab who are specialists in the building of muscle cars. Brent Smith, Marc Schiliro and Jeff Sommers were all influences on the restoration. Custom built from a 1967 Camaro California Black Plate car, the original CA Black Plate is included with car. No expense was spared on this over 10-year rotisserie nut and bolt restoration. It is finished in a magnificent deep
blue with custom black leather interior. It features a 1967 Corvette 427cid big block that has been modified with roughly 500hp. It has a Center Force clutch and a Tremec 5-speed TKO manual transmission and a Ford 9' rear end with Moser axles and Cal-Trac traction bars. The rear end has been mini tubbed 3' to accommodate the Billet Specialties wheels. The trunk floor was fabricated to fit a 20-gallon aluminum fuel cell and house an Optima battery. The front suspension consists of QA1 coilover shocks, 2' drop spindles and a Hotchkis sway bar. Global West frame connectors and 1 ?' leaf springs are in the rear. Wilwood slotted disc brakes are at all four corners and powered by a SSBC master cylinder. Other upgrades include a Billet Specialties serpentine pulley system, Ron Davis radiator with dual electric fans, smoothed firewall with hidden wires, Painless wiring, Autometer gauges, IDIDIT chrome tilt steering column, Shutt steering wheel, Hurst Pistol-grip shifter, leather seats with 8' of travel, Spin Tech exhaust system, Billet Specialties rear view mirror, knobs, outside mirrors, gas cap, door handles and window cranks.
