1954 CHEVROLET CORVETTE CONVERTIBLE

This beautiful Polo White 'Vette has the original engine with correct numbers and date codes. Rebuilt motor and transmission. Runs, looks and drives like new. Classic Polo White and red interior with original beige softtop. 235cid Inline 6 cylinder, 155hp engine. Being a late-production example, the car is complete with all the options offered for 1954 including signal-seeking AM radio, parking brake alarm, courtesy lights, turn signals and heater. The car went through a lengthy process to make the car mechanically sound including the following: the Powerglide automatic transmission was rebuilt; the carbs were rebuilt and cleaned several times as they are quite easy to work on as is the distributor and valve adjustments (Most old cars are maintenance friendly); has been checked and set every time she ran; the front and rear springs were replaced and put on new shocks; installed a new high buck Knoch interior; installed a new exhaust; and rebuilt the generator and regulator as well as a new full wiring harness. It has bright lights and starts easy. It handles much better and holds the road better now than when new. She has the correct wheel covers, correct date code on windshield, correct air cleaner covers, correct wide white wall tires and wheels, and much more. Car does have the original side curtains and has the original softtop still in good condition after 54 years.

Purchased from the previous owner of 18 years. Restored with the original, rebuilt 235cid/155hp Inline 6 cylinder motor and transmission.
