This 1970 Ford Bronco custom SUV underwent a recent restoration. Power comes from a rebuilt 302ci V8 engine that has been bored .030 over and fitted with a Turbo City fuel injection system, competition camshaft, roller rockers and solid lifters. Additional modifications to this 4-wheel drive SUV include an Edelbrock manifold, Hooker headers, Flowmaster exhaust, oil pump, fuel pump, 23-gallon gas tank, Powermaster high torque starter and a 4-core radiator. Power is sent to all four wheels by a
4-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Additional equipment includes an updated wiring harness, Tom Wood's driveshaft, Centerforce clutch and Ford Trac-Lok limited-slip differentials in the front and rear, along with a Dana 44 front axle with 4.10 gears and a Ford 9-inch rear axle housing with 4.10 gears out back. Originally finished in Acapulco Blue, the truck was recently refinished in Royal Blue Metallic and features a white fiberglass half-cab hardtop and fender flares. Also includes a ProtoFab RockSolid front bumper with an integrated Badland 9,000-pound winch with a roll cage, removable side steps, diamond plate lower body trim and a stainless-steel exhaust system with dual outlets. It rides on polished 16-inch alloy wheels wearing 35-inch BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A tires with 2-inch wheel spacers. The suspension has also been modified with a James Duff 21-inch long-travel kit, which includes extended swing arms, progressive front coils, rear springs and dual shocks at all four wheels. Additional modifications include a 3.5-inch suspension lift and a 2-inch body lift. Braking is managed by a Wilwood master cylinder with power-assisted discs at all four corners, and the truck is equipped with power steering. The cabin features a Vintage Air system, custom reclining bucket seats upholstered in gray vinyl and a full cage and Line-X coating from the tailgate to the firewall. Additional interior equipment includes black carpeting, Simpson 5-point seat belts, a fire extinguisher, a center-mounted CB radio, an AM/FM/CD stereo and a center console with integrated cup holders. The aftermarket three-spoke steering wheel frames a 100-mph speedometer with integrated gauges for charging status, fuel level, coolant temperature and oil pressure. Aftermarket gauges are mounted to the steering column and dashboard. Includes matching full-size spare, Hi-Lift 60-inch jack, a binder full of records dating back to 2001 and a Deluxe Marti Report. Estimated 12,000 miles on the documented overhauling of the engine in 2020.
