Details

This custom 1969 Chevrolet Camaro is powered by a 496ci stroker big-block engine with eagle-forged internals, Crane roller rockers, Howard's hydraulic roller camshaft and lifters mated to a 4L80E automatic transmission. Equipped with 2.125-inch primary tube ceramic-coated headers and a 3-inch stainless-steel exhaust. The timing and fuel trim are completely controlled by the FAST EFI system and MSD ignition. Power goes to the ground by a fabricated Ford 9-inch Trak-Loc posi-traction and 31-spline aluminum center sections from Moser Engineering. It also uses a Moser driveshaft and Competition Engineering adjustable ladder bars with QA1 adjustable coilovers in the front and rear. The front suspension uses stock lower control arms with Hotchkis upper control arms and a sway bar, all hung on a fresh powder-coated frame with a new 2.5-turn tight-ratio gearbox. The battery and polished aluminum fuel tank are trunk-mounted with an in-tank fuel pump to keep the pump quiet and cool. Gauges are all AutoMeter Ultra-Lite in a Covan's carbon-fiber dash panel. The headlamps are LED with Fesler billet LED running lamps. Dressing up the engine compartment are Moroso fabricated valve covers, a polished aluminum 4-core radiator and Ringbrothers billet hood hinges.
