Details

Known as 'Reflection,' this stunning '70 Nova was designed and restored to be a step above most second-generation Novas, and that it is. It's a Detroit Autorama award-winner and the award is included. As the VIN indicates, this vehicle was built in Willow Run, MI, as a 1970 Chevrolet Nova 2-door with a 6-cylinder. At some point it was restored as an SS 396 and then sold by a classic car dealership to a gentleman who wanted to make a masterpiece out of it. The plan was to build a vehicle that was

modern but still shared some of the original characteristics. With an open checkbook the car was completely restored, which is documented with tons of receipts and photos that are included. The exterior body is stunning with its cowl hood, straight body, tight gaps and beautiful paint. It was finished in Porsche GT Silver with BMW Space Gray racing stripes. All of the trim was finished in Satin Gray, which looks amazing. Some of the custom features include all-new tinted glass, front grille, AGT LED headlights, front bumper, Ringbrothers door handles, Fesler billet LED taillights, tail panel and rear bumper. The car sits on 17-inch American Racing Torq Thrust wheels that have a gray center and polished lip. When the door opens it only gets better, with a fully custom gray leather interior. The entire interior was covered in Dynamat insulation for sound and heat. The dash was painted gray and outfitted with a Classic Dash carbon-fiber cluster with AutoMeter Cobalt gauges along with custom switches. It has 2011 Dodge Challenger front bucket seats and rear seat with fold-down center armrest. The door panels are matching with perforated and pleated inserts, along with French seams. Some of the custom features include a Bright Touch billet rearview mirror, Ididit chrome tilt steering column, Billet Specialties steering wheel with carbon-fiber wrap and horn button, console, shifter, power windows, power driver's seat, power door locks with alarm, front 3-point retractable front seat belts, rear seat belts, carbon-fiber-wrapped package tray, carpeting with floor mats and Alpine 5-speaker sound system. The trunk compartment was painted gray and covered with carpeting. The trunk houses a matching full-size spare, battery box, and power cutoff knob. The engine compartmented is highly detailed throughout. The firewall was smoothed and painted body color, along with the backside of hood and inner fenders. It's equipped with black aluminum Ringbrothers hood hinges. The heart of this vehicle is a built 396ci V8 engine that runs excellent. Some engine upgrades include competition cam, roller rockers, Edelbrock water pump, Chevrolet valve covers and custom air cleaner. It has a Holley Avenger carburetor, MSD electronic ignition system, custom pulleys and heat shrink clamps. The engine is cooled by a Northern aluminum radiator with HP electric fan, custom overfill canister and custom radiator support cover. The engine breathes through Patriot ceramic headers and stainless mandrel bent exhaust with X-pipe and Pypes mufflers. The engine is coupled to a TREMEC TKO 600 5-speed manual transmission with RAM clutch, Lakewood bell housing and American Powertrain driveshaft. The power is transferred to a 12-bolt Eaton posi-traction rear end with Moser axles, 3.55 gears and billet differential cover. The undercarriage is nicely detailed with many upgrades. It's equipped with a Flaming River power rack & pinion steering system and CPP front suspension, including the sway bar and upper and lower control arms. The rear suspension consists of Calvert CalTracs traction bars. The power braking system consists of a black booster, Wilwood master cylinder, CPP front and rear disc brakes. This vehicle has been recently serviced and detailed, which is all documented with an invoice that is included. From the MS CLASSIC CARS Collection.
