Barrett-Jackson is stepping up its commitment to safety – and expedited entry – for our guests!
Beginning with the 2020 Scottsdale Auction and at all Barrett-Jackson events going forward, Barrett-Jackson is introducing an enhanced public safety policy that includes the type of bag attendees can bring into the events. It’s a move that will not only improve the safety of our guests, but also one we hope will speed up entry on each event day.
Our new safety policy only permits guests to enter the auction site with clutch purses that do not exceed 6.5” x 4.5” or clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bags that do not exceed 12” x 6” x 12” – or one-gallon clear plastic freezer bags.
(An exception will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection at an entry gate.)
Our longstanding security rules will also still apply: Security officers will be checking and tagging all bags at the auction entrance, and guests will be screened for weapons and contraband. Weapons of any type, video cameras, skateboards, drones, coolers and animals (service animals to assist guests with disabilities are an exception) are among the prohibited items. At our Scottsdale and Palm Beach events only: One sealed bottle of water (under 17 oz.) will be allowed; other outside beverages and food are prohibited.
Barrett-Jackson remains committed to providing the best possible experience for our guests at all times – from the time the gates are open to the moment the last gavel falls!
