Barrett-Jackson’s 50th-anniversary celebration in Scottsdale took the collector car world’s breath away with immeasurable energy. Everything from Resto-Mods to matching-numbers originals and iconic movie cars graced the block to provide an experience that only The World’s Greatest Collector Car Auctions could deliver. Among the highest-selling vehicles and most memorable moments were a 2004 Porsche Carrera GT that sold for $1.98 million, setting a new record sale at auction, and a 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing that sold for $1.87 million.
