This 1968 Shelby GT500KR with a 428ci engine is worthy of being called the King of the Road. This is one of the original 518 convertibles and one of 231 produced in Acapulco Blue that was delivered in May 1968 (per the Marti Report). It was delivered to actor Lee Marvin with the invoice showing Marvin as the recipient and signed by Bob Ford. This mint-condition car features the signature on the console, 'Best Wishes Lee Marvin, Carroll Shelby.' The car comes with Lee Marvin memorabilia. In 1991, this car was featured on cover of Mustang Magazine. It's equipped with C6 Select automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes and air conditioning. It has 47,000 original miles with only 1,500 miles driven since it was rebuilt. All the original equipment is in place and is in pristine condition.
