Custom built Shelby Cobra Go-Kart previously owned by Dick Smith. This Cobra Go-Kart was previously owned by the famous race car driver, Dick Smith who died tragically in a plane wreck. Mr. Smith had this go-kart built to replicate his well-known 198 MPH Cobra for his son. He used to bring it to car events and the two cars would be displayed side-by-side. The go-kart has been in the private collection of Dean and Misty McLaren of McLaren Classic Restorations and was the inspiration behind their 1/2 scale and 3/4 scale go-karts that came after it.
