New sophisticated design represents the next 50 years of the Mustang. The Mustang is more than just a car; it is the heart and soul of Ford. And legions of Mustang enthusiasts saw this passion and inspiration in the unveiling of the 2015 Mustang last month. Now, the winning bidder of Lot #3010 - selling at no reserve - will own the coveted first retail 2015 Mustang GT to roll off the assembly line. They will choose a fastback with manual or automatic transmission, and any interior, exterior and stripe color combination offered by Ford on the all-new Mustang. This car represents the next 50 years of the Mustang, and it will be built to the bidder's specifications. Powered by the throaty 5.0 Liter V8, the 2015 Mustang GT now features an upgraded valve train and cylinder heads that yield more than 420hp and 396ft/lbs of torque. A new intake manifold improves low-speed breathing for better fuel economy, idle stability and emissions. Plus, it features all-new front and rear suspension systems. It also boasts innovative technologies providing drivers with enhanced information, control and connectivity when they want it. For instance, the new Ford-developed stability control system is tuned to maximize Mustang's dynamic capabilities with features like torque vectoring that directs engine power to individual wheels to help keep the car on course. When the time comes to turn up the wick at the track, Mustang GT includes standard launch control enabling drivers to achieve smooth, consistent starts every time. Bidders will also be making an important contribution in the fight against Type 1 diabetes (T1D). Join Ford in its support of JDRF, as the proceeds from the sale of this one-off car will be donated to the country's leading global organization funding T1D research. JDRF's goal is to progressively remove the impact of this terrible disease from people's lives. The winning bidder is scheduled to receive this Mustang when production of the new model year begins. The Mustang team involved in the design and development will sign the car in appreciation of the donation to JDRF. **ALL PROCEEDS TO BENEFIT THE JUVENILE DIABETES RESEARCH FOUNDATION** **WILL BE SOLD AT APPROXIMATELY 7:30PM ON SATURDAY, JANUARY 18, 2014**
