2015 will be the last year Gen 5 COPO Camaros will be built. This vehicle was a special-built display vehicle featured in the Chevrolet display at the 2014 SEMA show, and was the COPO featured in all Chevrolet Performance advertising for 2015. The 2015 COPO Camaro continues the tradition of the COPO Camaro at Chevrolet. This is a raw, powerful, purpose-built Camaro designed to dominate in NHRA Stock Eliminator drag racing. Car comes complete and ready for action. This 2015 COPO Camaro features the following: Abalone White exterior with gray and orange accents and all-new COPO graphics powered by a 350 'LSX' V8 with a 2.9-liter Whipple supercharger rated at 555hp, 3-speed automatic transmission, capable of mid-8 second quarter-mile elapsed times as delivered. This COPO Camaro race car was built by hand starting with production hardware, including the same body in white used for production models. Fitted with an NHRA-approved roll cage and other safety equipment, along with a racing chassis and suspension components, it also includes a solid rear axle system in place of a regular production Camaro's independent rear axle. 100 percent of the winning bid will benefit the Achilles Freedom Team. Today, this non-profit organization has chapters and members in over 65 locations within the United States and abroad. Every day, in parks, gyms and tracks all over the world, Achilles provides athletes with disabilities with a community of support.
