2014 DIRICO PRO-STREET CUSTOM MOTORCYCLE

DIRICO Motorcycles and Easter Seals Veterans Count have teamed up to bring awareness to the needs of our US service men and women, and their families, as they reintegrate into their local communities. DIRICO has hand-crafted a series of custom motorcycles, each themed for a different military branch, for auction. Veterans Count provides financial assistance to those in need of emergency services including help with housing, utilities, food, child care, medical bills, transportation, and more. The program has only 5% of overhead, so 95 cents of every dollar from the auction of this bike will be used directly for emergency assistance to veterans. In 2012 alone, through the work of care coordinators, we prevented 29 suicides, addressed homelessness for 54 individuals, gave access to mental health care for 151 people, and found permanent employment for 104 participants. Since 2007 we have helped over 2,200 service members and their families, and distributed nearly $1.5 million in emergency assistance. This 2014 DIRICO Pro-Street Custom Tribute starts with a Rowe machine hand-built DOM mild steel frame engineered for DIRICO. It's fitted with a Harley-Davidson twin-cam B 103cid motor paired with a Baker right side drive 6-speed transmission. Sampson Big Radius exhaust and 52mm inverted Marzocchi front suspension rounds out the sleek design of this new softail. The Pro-Street speaks for itself, but the fire and black Battle of Mogadishu themed artwork by nationally acclaimed painter James Fugge sets the motorcycle apart from the rest. The bike is a true memorial to the fallen Task Force Rangers on that fateful day in October of 1993. Scenes of Black Hawk helicopters with soldiers fast roping to the ground on a back drop of fiery sunsets with the rear fender dedicated to the individual names of the 17 whose courage, bravery and sacrifice for our country and freedom will never be forgotten.
