The Hydrocar was a 10-year build and made its debut on the cover of the January 2004 edition of Popular Mechanics, and then went on to appear in Forbes, plus two Monster Garage publications. It's powered by a World all-aluminum 527ci Chevrolet engine rated at 762hp at 5,800 rpm and 712 ft/lbs of torque at 4,200 rpm, mated to a PATC Quadzilla 4L80Z 4-speed racing automatic transmission. It's equipped with 304 stainless-steel space frame and aluminum skin, pneumatic suspension and 4-wheel power disc brakes.
