This is Serial #001 of a limited production of eight vehicles for the world and only two convertibles built. This rare 'Stang hails from the Mustang Barn Collection in Jupiter, FL, and it has 113 actual miles. The car is brand-new, is a convertible, and includes all of the original paperwork and Window Sticker. Even the manuals are still in the original plastic wrap, which has never been opened. heritage bodywork with the 620hp S281 extreme powertrain, plus an improved super Shaker Hood scoop. Total production is 25 cars and finally, after 25 years, we have a Saleen without a billboard across the windshield. 'Saleen' is there, but in 1-1/2-inch-high letters, and they're black. The Dark Horse Extreme Mustang is a limited production built by Saleen for the 2009 model year. The supercharged 302ci engine provides 620hp with 600 ft/lbs of torque with Speedlab Super Shaker option supplying exclusive styling while enhancing performance. 6-speed manual transmission. The vehicle takes advantage of the Ram effect into the Super Shaker air box. It increases pressure in the air box, which adds boost by 0.5 psi and holds air charge temperature relatively constant even with the higher boost. This 25-unit special-run combines the power and handling of the Saleen extreme and the exclusive heritage body style with interior and exterior cues found only in the Dark Horse. The elite flat black exterior graphics and identification, Saleen serialized engine plaque, navigation system and sport leather seating with Alcantara inserts adds to the exquisite style of this limited edition vehicle.
