Very well maintained with 3,309 actual miles. Extremely hard to find with only 500 units produced. Ford introduced the Shelby GT-H version of the Mustang at the 2006 New York Auto Show. Like the original GT350H from 1966, the GT-H featured gold on black paint and was only available at the Hertz car rental agency. A modest power bump over the regular Mustang GT V8 engine. special performance suspension and Ford Racing GTA axle-back mufflers. Only 500 cars were built to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the original Shelby GT350H. For 2007, a convertible version of the GT-H was offered for rental at Hertz. The GT-H shares its axle ratio with the manual transmission GT. Under the hood the Shelby packs a 90mm cold air intake kit, performance oil filter and engine computer re-calibration courtesy of Ford Racing. With 325hp and 330lb/ft of torque, the GT-H boasts a moderate 25hp and 10lb/ft improvement over a stock 4.6L GT. Stomp the pedal to hear its performance muffler and X-pipe vibrate eardrums emphatically as the car surges from 0-60mph in 5.6 seconds and completes the ? mile in 13.9 seconds at 101.1mph. New shocks, sway bars, shorter springs and strut tower brace deliver a sporty feel. The addition of racing rear brake pads stops the GT-H from 60mph in 128 feet. From the Jimmy Richardson Collection.
