Description
This one-owner Corvette was designed and built for maximum horsepower utilizing 91 octane fuel and retaining the aesthetics of a sleeper. The twin-turbocharged and intercooled 427ci V8 engine has manually adjustable wastegates to control boost and horsepower. The engine was built from the best racing components available, including a competition A356 aluminum GM Racing C5-R block with steel billet main caps, 4340 Crankshaft, Mahle custom forged 8.8:1 compression pistons, Manley 4340 H-beam connecting rods and Total Seal piston rings. Competition Cams designed a camshaft and valvetrain that was very friendly to drive to the grocery store but would create the unparalleled power and the muscle-car sound desired. The LS7 heads were reworked at Dart Machinery and fitted with titanium valves. Crankcase evacuation is handled by a GZ Motorsports external vacuum pump. A pair of Garrett GT3582R competition turbos are mounted on cast molybdenum exhaust manifolds for an OEM look and fitment. All engine management is controlled by a Big Stuff3 ECU that is integrated with the factory ECM to create seamless car and engine control. The 'tune' is extremely conservative with timing, as the street tires will not handle the power. A matching high-performance fuel pump flows through Precision Turbo fuel injectors. The air intake system is equipped with twin intercoolers that lead to a UMI throttle body. The oil system contains an external oil cooler. Engine cooling is handled by a massive Be Cool custom-built radiator and electric fan. The exhaust is manufactured from 3-inch 304 stainless steel with Tial wastegates flowing through high-flow 304 stainless mufflers. Coupling the engine to the 6-speed transmission is a twin-disk McLeod clutch. The Corvette rides on custom-built 19x13-inch rear and 19x10-inch front CCW wheels, with 345/30/ZR19 Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires on the rear and 275/30/ZR19s on the front. Bilstein shocks create a smooth ride on today's roads. Stopping is achieved with Brembo brakes utilizing 6-piston Monoblock calipers with 14-inch multi-piece rotors on the front and 4-pistons calipers with 13.5-inch rotors on the rear. This super sleeper Corvette is gorgeous inside and out, and has 8,020 miles. The factory traction control system has been disabled and 'traction control disabled' is illuminated on the dashboard. The low-beam headlights work perfectly; however, there is a recall that has not been addressed. CARFAX shows General Motors safety recall on 12/04/2014: Low beam headlamps inoperative. **VEHICLE MAY NOT BE EMISSIONS COMPLIANT IN ALL 50 STATES**
