Built and campaigned by Chili Pepper Racing in the SPEED World Challenge Touring Car Series, this 2006 MK5 Volkswagen Jetta TDI weighs 2,380lbs without driver. Features include forged R-G BBS wheels, StopTech front and rear brakes, Chili Pepper Racing prepped 150 PD race engine with approximately 225hp and 330ft/lbs torque, European custom injectors, Carrillo rods, Malhe pistons, custom Garrett Turbo charger, larger intercooler with vibrant plumbing, large aluminum race radiator, spec clutch and

light flywheel, limited slip differential, Seat 6-speed transmission, Seat EDC-15 ECU and wiring harness, custom axles, Moton 3-way adjustable shocks, Eibach springs, Euro Gear USA custom carbon fiber door skin/front and rear bonnets, Duval aerodynamic package, Lexan windows, race fabricated side exit exhaust, quick release steering wheel, remote hydroelectric power steering, Sabelt Hans and 5-point racing harness and Stack 8100 dash with 8903 data acquisition unit. This car has been covered in Diesel Tuner and Euro Tuner Magazines, the Fuji Grand Prix Edition of the Red Bulletin and catalogs for Carrillo Rods and Vibrant. Chili Pepper Racing campaigned in the SPEED World Challenge Series from 2002-2008 raising money and awareness for families affected by pediatric cancer. During the construction of this car, Austin Hatcher (Hatch) was born to Jim and Amy Jo Osborn, team principles of Chili Pepper Racing. Hatch acquired cancer at the age of 8 weeks and passed away at the age of 11 weeks. Proceeds from the sale will be donated to the Austin Hatcher Foundation for Pediatric Cancer. The Foundations mission is to empower families affected by pediatric cancer.
