3,740 actual miles. One of 29 convertibles produced, this is the only one in Lizstick Red. Equipped with a supercharged 4.6-liter engine producing 485hp, this rare 'Stang hails from the Mustang Barn Collection in Jupiter, FL. It has less than 4,000 miles and is signed by Steve Saleen as well as John and Ashley Force. This car is basically brand-new and includes all of the original paperwork and Window Sticker. Even the manuals are still in the original plastic wrap, which has never been opened.
The 2006 Saleen Speedster offers a beautifully designed tonneau for ease of use in addition to the sport bar. Painted in matching Saleen colors, the sport bar and the tonneau offer a complementary design to the already aggressive Saleen styling. Extreme specifications engine 281ci, 4.6-liter 3V/SOHC V8 Saleen Series IV integrated twin-screw supercharger, dual-stage, water-to-air intercooler horsepower - 550bhp at 6,000 rpm and 500 ft/lbs of torque at 4,800 rpm. It has bored and stroked 3.55 x 3.54 special Saleen forged steel crankshaft, Saleen forged steel rods, Saleen forged aluminum pistons, Saleen stainless 2.5 variable-flow performance exhaust, Saleen Powerflash performance calibration and Saleen Performance air filter. It also has Saleen high-flow inlet tube and airbox, Saleen dual core radiator and high-flow cooling system. Equipped with aluminum dual-core radiator and high-flow cooling system, Saleen quick-ratio 6-speed transmission, high-performance clutch, light-weight aluminum flywheel and balanced aluminum driveshaft. It features 8.8 differential gear ratio 3.55:1 and Saleen MaxGrip speed-sensitive limited-slip differential. The front features MacPherson struts with lower control arms. Equipped with a Saleen Racecraft system, including N2 struts with linear-rate coil-over springs, 1.38 tubular stabilizer (ani-roll) bar with urethane pivot bushings, specially calibrated suspension settings, rear live axle located by three links plus a 0.83 stabilzer (anti-roll) bar and specially calibrated suspension settings.
